Kid’s Ice Fishing Shindig
on Saturday!
Bring your kids to the 16th Annual Ice Fishing show for the Kid’s Ice Fishing Shindig featuring top pros, hands-on learning and tons of fun. The Shindig starts at 1:00 p.m. Saturday on the Main Stage. Kids will go through five stations covering the elements of a true ice fishing experience:
Quickly put on top-notch ice fishing gear, load the sled and set-up the portable in the Ice Safety Race. The fastest times for the day win a prize!
Stick your hand in a bucket of ice to always remember why ice safety is important!
Learn how to tie a slip bobber rig and fishing knots!
Play the Baiting Game and learn how to set up different rigs!
See if your minnow can beat the others in the Minnow Race!
Test your Fish Identification knowledge and see the trout pond through an underwater camera!
Prizes and goodie bags are available in a limited number for kids who participate in all five stations.
